Dr. Christie Francia, O.D.
Dr. Christie Francia brings warmth and deep experience to Madeira Optical. She grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. She then completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and went on to serve a residency in primary eye care at the VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
With over 13 years of experience in eye care, Dr. Francia is passionate about helping patients by connecting eye health to overall wellness. Her clinical interests include myopia management, dry-eye management and glaucoma care, and she takes pride in delivering precise, personalized refractions.
Outside the exam room, Dr. Francia lives in Mason, Ohio, with her husband Joe and their three children — Ellie, Adam and Zee. When she’s not caring for vision, she loves exploring the world and spending quality time with her family.
