How Do We Choose Designer Eyewear at Madeira Optical?
You may notice that many of the designer eyewear collections at Madeira Optical are by actual eyewear designers and not licensed national brands. While we do like and stock some designer eyeglasses licensed by clothing, handbag and other companies, we have found that the mix of quality materials, eyewear design and price is better with designers whose primary business is eyewear. There are many well known eyewear designers, including Modo, Lindberg, Lafont Paris, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Prodesign and Silhouette Rimless. Other eyewear designers like Ogi and SALT. Optics are exciting discovery brands. Our commitment is to finding the finest designer eyewear and to sell it for a fair price, regardless of whose name is on the temple.
How Do I Choose Flattering Designer Eyewear?
At Madeira Optical, our experienced opticians will help you select a great pair of glasses. When choosing eyewear, keep in mind that the frame should enhance the shape and features of your face.
Remember that eyeglass frames size should be in proportion to face size. Smaller eyeglasses are better for smaller faces, while larger frames look best on larger faces. When selecting new designer eyeglasses, remember that proper fit is essential. To help find the perfect fit, consider these tips:
- The frame color should be complimentary to your skin tone and hair color
- The frame should follow your eyebrow closely.
- Your pupil should be in the center of the frame.
- The frame should feel comfortable, without pulling or pinching your face
