Dr. Pence & Kritzer's scope of practice encompasses comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations. Our doctors manage pediatric through senior vision care, including the diagnosis, treatment and co-management of eye diseases. Our office features state-of-the-art eye examination equipment, including digital retinal imaging and autorefraction. New patients are always welcome.

Pediatric Eye Care

Our eye doctors provide comprehensive general pediatric Optometry for children of  all ages, and our patient and friendly Optometrists are parents who enjoy working with kids. The American Optometric Association recommends pediatric eye exams at 6 months, 3 years and before starting kindergarten. If your child is under 1 year old, please visit our InfantSEE page. Madeira Optical offers a large selection of designer & quality eyeglasses, including Cole Haan, Kate Spade, Lindberg, Lafont Paris, MODO ECO, Oliver Peoples, OGI, Prodesign Denmark, SALT Optics, Silhouette Rimless, Tory Burch and many more.

Polarized & Prescription Sunglasses

We feature Maui Jim, Tommy Bahama and Zeal Optics performance and polarized sunglasses. All of our performance sunglass collections feature high quality lenses that are available in prescription powers. We also carry sunglasses from many of our designer collections, including Kate Spade, Oliver Peoples and Tory Burch.

Our Eyewear Philosophy

You may notice that many of the designer eyeglass and sunglass collections at Madeira Optical are by boutique eyewear designers and not licensed brands. While we do like and stock some licensed eyeglasses, we have found that boutique eyewear designers offer quality materials, eyewear design and value that are generally superior. Our commitment is to finding the best eyewear and to sell it for a fair price, regardless of whose name is on the temple.
